I'm sorry I misesd the signing or the fact that this book was even published! I was on Astorians.com and looking at events that were taking place and saw that I missed you by less than a week! I live in the Astoria area as well.
However what captured me was the book itself! I was a J.W. for about 18 yrs. of my life...then I entered H.S. and my mind started to think on it's own.
I 'disfellowshipped' (sp?) myself at 21 & it's been a non stop 'annoyance' since. Annoyance in that my mother and baby brother are still J.W.'s and one of my older brother's went back...do they ever stop preaching?!
Anyway it would have been great to meet you! I'm so glad you're on blogger too.
